American Red Cross Hosts Blood Drive at Peabody Dunkin' Donuts!

The American Red Cross and Dunkin' Donuts are holding a blood drive to support the community blood supply for patients in need.

Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood, and every pint donated could save up to three lives.

The Red Cross is urging the public to make an appointment to donate  biood at the  location by calling 1-800-RedCross (1­-800-733-2767) or visit www.redcrossblood.org.

The American Red Cross Blood Services - Northeast Division must distribute approximately 3,000 units of blood each day just to meet the basic needs of area patients. Individuals who are at least 17 years of age (16 with parental permission), weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements. Bring your Red Cross blood donor card or other form of positive ID when you come to donate.
