RCS is a multi-generation community chorus with over 60 members from Reading, Wakefield, Lynnfield, Stoneham, Wilmington, Woburn, Burlington, Medford and Melrose.  We have members with years of experience and members who haven’t sung a note in years.  All interested singers who can match pitch and carry a tune are welcome to join us.  All voice parts are needed.

In past years, RCS participated in the 911 Remembrance, the Tree-lighting celebration, Reading Street Faire and Martin Luther King Day breakfast.  We have also performed the National Anthem for the Lowell Spinners and NE Revolution.  This year, we are planning a New York City concert weekend in late June where we are scheduled to perform at the Church of St. John the Divine, as well as the Statue of Liberty, and/or Central Park.

For more information, please visit our website: www.readingcommunitysingers.org  or come to a January Open Rehearsal.  Old South is handicapped accessible.  Please join us – together, we’ll fill springtime with song!

RCS is a past recipient of the Reading Cultural Council Community Service award and has received grants from the Reading Cultural Council, Eastern Bank and the Harpley Foundation.  RCS is a member of the Greater Boston Choral Consortium.
