Lynnfield METCO Building Bridges Concert

The Building Bridges Program is a yearly event that is popular among students, faculty, administrators and the community.  Our purpose is to increase exposure to African American culture and the African Diaspora. We bring in artists from other communities including Boston to perform in the areas of music and dance.  Lynnfield student artists and musicians also present their artistic talents during the course of the evening.
Lynnfield METCO Helping Hands members are involved in the planning and execution of this project.  This program works to bridge the Boston and Lynnfield communities through artistic expression.  The communities will share their commonalities through these expressions and learn about the beauty inherent in both cultures.
Our keynote speaker will address preparations for a successful college life and issues related to isolation in students of color.  Please join us as we celebrate national and international music, dance and culture related to the African American heritage.
