Are There Specific Trick Or Treating Hours In Town?

A reader recently asked whether Lynnfield has set any particular hours for trick or treating this year, noting that with Halloween falling on a Monday, kids could conceivably go out on Sunday evening.

Some towns and cities set particular hours when trick or treating is supposed to take place. However, a check with Lynnfield police, fire and town hall found that the town does not have set trick or treating hours, leaving that decision to parents.

With that in mind, unless you're heading to the festivities in Salem over the weekend, it seems that Halloween night, Monday, is likely the best option for young Lynnfielders to get the best haul of candy.
