Sunrise Holds Memorial Tree Planting

Flowering cherry tree planted in memory of Sunrise residents who have passed on.

The following is an announcement from Sunrise Assisted Living of Lynnfield:

On Friday September 14 Sunrise Assisted Living, in Lynnfield held a memorial tree planting and dedication ceremony. In collaboration with Townscape, a beautiful Kwanzan Flowering Cherry tree was planted as a living memorial of the residents of Sunrise who have passed on. The ceremony was officiated by Rev. Dennis Bailey. In addition to prayers, poems and a song were part of the celebration. A plaque will be secured at the base of the tree to perpetually designate this tree as a living memorial to the residents. “We consider it a privilege to have had these residents call Sunrise home & we think this is a wonderful way to forever keep them a part of our community” – Maushumi Ghosh, Executive Director.
