Special Ed PAC Meets Tonight, Easter Production This Weekend

Five Things You Need To Know: April 13

Today is Wednesday, April 13. Here are five things you need to know:

School Sports: In today's Lynnfield High School sports action, the girls varsity and junior varsity softball teams both have 3:45 p.m. games at Ipswich High School. The boys freshman baseball team has a home game against Ipswich at 3:45 p.m.

Easter Production: This weekend, the Calvary Christian Church in Lynnfield will perform "The Promise," an Easter production that portrays the birth, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, on Saturday, April 16 at 6:30 p.m., Sunday, April 17 at 6:30 p.m.
There are also shows scheduled for next weekend as well: Friday, April 22 at 6:30 p.m., Saturday, April 23, 2 p.m. (matinee) and 6:30 p.m., and Sunday, April 24, 6:30 p.m. The church is located at 47 Grove St., Lynnfield – near exit 44A off Route 128. Town Government: There is an assessor's meeting at 5 p.m. in the assessor's office at town hall.

Special Education Parents Advisory Council: The Special Education Parents Advisory Council meets tonight at 7-8:30 p.m. at the Lynnfield Preschool. Parents will have the opportunity to meet Kara Mauro, the recently appointed interim director of special services for the district. Curious About Cuisine? The Lynnfield Library's Curious About Cuisine group meets Wednesday from 3-4 p.m. in the library mezzanine. This month's theme is "Mushrooms: Not Your Average Toadstool." Participants will discuss the varieties of mushrooms, how to store and cook them and where they grow while enjoying some samples. All are welcome.
