Region May Get First Snow Showers Today

Snow showers, no accumulation expected.

The local area can expect some minor snow showers early Tuesday and possibly again on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

On Tuesday morning, the NWS forecast had a chance of snow showers before noon, giving way to rain showers with a high near 38. There is also a chance of snow showers tonight before 3 a.m. In both cases, no accumulation of note is expected.

Wednesday, another round of snow showers may appear by 11 a.m., followed by some rain showers in the afternoon as the high goes up toward 40.

Looking further ahead, the rest of the week is expected to be partly cloudy up until Sunday, when there is another chance of showers.
