PAWS Pet of the Week: Marsha the Guinea Pig

Marsha: Adorable Guinea Pig Looking to Cuddle

Marsha:  Adorable Guinea Pig In Search Of Cuddles and Love

Funny how I ended up in this pet of the week column usually devoted to a bunch of cats.  You must admit that I certainly stand out from the crowd you have been seeing here.  Well, March is Adopt a Rescued Guinea Pig month so it is the perfect time for me to introduce you to the joys of a cavy companion!

I am pure pig, Guinea that is, from my white fur to the orange patch that adorns my eye. Honestly, I am cute and cuddly and I promise to brighten your day.  As most cavies, I love to talk and I will hold my end of a conversation with a selection of squeals, chirps, squeaks and whistles.

Being social by nature, I like having company, both humans and other piggies. And, I have been spayed, which makes me an extra special guinea pig. My rare sterile status makes me the perfect companion for any cavy, male or female.  So, if your resident pig needs a friend, consider me.  Of course, I could also be happy as your one and only. In either case, we will probably become BFFs.

If you are looking for an easy-to-care-for young pet with an affectionate and winning personality, I may just be the right one for you.  Did I mention I am good with kids?  If you want a cuddle and a trill, I am ready to come join your family.
