PAWS Pet of the Week: Gianni

Gianni Sought Shelter from a Storm and now Seeks a Home with You

Gianni Sought Shelter from a Storm and now Seeks a Home with You

They call me Gianni and I am a cat who got caught in a rainstorm. I mean, who wants to get their hair wet?  Certainly not me.  So I stood on the porch of a nice house and meowed until someone noticed me.  The family could not take me inside due to allergies, but they called PAWS for help.  I was so happy to get rescued that I jumped right into the arms of the PAWS volunteer who came to fetch me!

I really love being inside where it is warm and dry.   If you don’t mind, I will talk to you as I follow you around the house.  But, if you are too busy, I am fine playing with your other cats.  I am told my beautiful eyes light up when I see cat playmates.  Of course, if your home is currently cat-less, I could introduce you to some other PAWS kitties who could be my friend…and yours.

All dried off from the rains, I am ready to be adopted.  At only 7 months old, I provide all the fun of a lively kitten but also the advantages of a cat maturing into more settled adulthood.  My only demands are lots of affection, some playmates, and a bowl of toys as big as the one I have here in my foster home, as you can see in my video.  Yes, I sure am a cat who loves people, cats and toys… and I am looking to play with you and yours.

If you are interested in meeting Gianni or any of our other available kittens and cats, or to learn about volunteer and fostering opportunities, contact PAWS at (781) 246-6111 or PAWSwakefield@yahoo.com.    And you can also meet many of our kittens and cats at our adoption hours every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at VCA Wakefield Animal Hospital and on the first Saturday of the month at the Woburn PETCO from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
