Lynnfield Bicentennial Committee Seeks Logo, Name Ideas

Preparations are underway for town's big anniversary in 2014.

The following was provided by Steve Smith of the Lynnfield Historical Commission:

Members of the planning committee for Lynnfield’s 2014 Bicentennial celebration are preparing now for a series of events from historic home tours to a parade to a road race to events commemorating Revolutionary War and Civil War soldiers.

To help capture the proper spirit of all of this, the committee wants to see how residents in the community picture and describe this history. People of all ages are encouraged to submit logo design ideas and/or naming ideas for the bicentennial itself.
