Lorna Doone and Shortbread are Two Cute Cookies

Lorna Doone and Shortbread are Two Cute Cookies

Do you like cookies?  I hope so, because I'm Lorna Doone, an orange Maine Coon mix who is looking for someone to love her.  I know you can see I am stunning to look at.  Can you see my tail in the pictures?  Isn’t it just so fluffy and amazing?  I am also special and sweet on the inside as well.

I have lots of favorite activities we could share.  I love to be patted and I will purr and knead when you do that.  You can pick me up and I will cuddle.  Ok, I will need to get to know you just a bit first, but after that I will be relaxed and happy to be around you.  When you are not around, I will hang out on the window sill.  I just love watching the birds and bees outside. It is better than cable and, to be honest, I am a bit of a couch
potato.

I am also a home body.  My life on the street ended in my getting pregnant. Yes, I was a very young mom.  Most of my kittens have been adopted into wonderful homes.  I am so proud of them.  I do have one kitten left and her name is Shortbread.  Like me, she is a beautiful orange tabby with a fluffy tail.  She loves to play with toys, a ball, or string, or anything that flies, rolls, or rattles.  She is six months old and lots of fun to be with.  When she gets tired, she cuddles up with me.  She would do that with you as well I am certain.

Shortbread and I are both looking for homes.  We could be adopted together as a wonderfully bonded pair who will entertain each other while you are out.  Or, we could be adopted separately. I get along well with other cats as long as they are not aggressive.  Shortbread is fine with kittens, but she is not crazy about adult cats.  We both say that we just want a home of our own. After all, what good is a cookie if you have no one to share it with?
