Home Needed: Twitch, a Declawed Tortoiseshell Cat Who Loves People

Twitch: A declawed tortie seeks a home, either alone or with her best friend Katie.

My name is Twitch and I am a sweet, declawed lady with a charming and easy-going nature. I just love, love, love people. I will be the official greeter in the house with a sprawling presentation of my tummy. Okay, if you think that’s a bit over the top, I could just sit next to everyone and hang out. Despite my size (personally I think good things DO come in large packages), I am quite agile and will jump into the spot next to you—the better for us to watch your favorite movie together.

I enjoy having company whether that be human, canine, or feline. Having lived with both cats and dogs, I am a friend to all, including my BFF, Katie, a petite, declawed Maine coon who is also available for adoption. You can see Katie in my video. She is the adorable fuzzy one in the back. I am the beautiful large kitty being brushed and petted in the front. Katie and I would love to stay together, but I could also be adopted as a solo cat (that way my food intake could be regulated).  Or, I am happy to join a home with other animals.  The choice is yours.

By the way, did you know that November is adopt a senior pet month?  Of course, Katie and I are decidedly not seniors!  At seven years old, we are in the prime of our life.  We just don’t understand why anyone would pass us up to adopt a kitten.  OK, we agree that babies are cute.  But honestly, if you are looking for love, no one will love you more than an adult cat.  We are more settled and have time for you.  So, we want to let you know that adult and senior cats make great pets.  The days are getting shorter and colder and nothing feels better at the end of the day than the affection of a grown up furry adult cat.
