Home Needed: Ridley, A Football-Loving Cat (Kind Of)

Ridley: A super friendly tiger is ready for your love

With the upcoming fall season, nothing shines brighter in New England than football and our much beloved Patriots. That must be why they named me after the Patriots draft pick Stevan Ridley. I am not looking to join the Patriots, but I am looking for a team of my own with a wide receiver who can catch my love and pass it right back with some love of their own for me.

I actually do not know much about football. I am a cat after all. But, I do love to pass an ice cube or two if one happens to fall on the floor. Neither can I pass up the toilet paper roll if it comes into my line of vision. Unrolling it and attacking it is up right my alley. This may not seem like much of a football strategy to you, but it does seem to keep me in shape just in case I make the team…your team of course.

Besides games, my other favorite pastime is people. I really love people, all sizes and ages, children included.  I like to be near humans; I like to get belly rubs from them and I even like to chill on the sofa with them.

Without trying to sound perfect, I also enjoy the company of other cats. That means I could fit perfectly into just about any household. For me life is not a spectator sport. I will be happy to be part of your lineup no matter who is on it. So put me number one on your draft list because I know we will make a great team. Ok, enough talk, can you pass me that ball? And those chips please?

If you are interested in drafting Ridley, or any of our other available kittens and cats, or to learn about volunteer and fostering opportunities, contact PAWS at (781) 246-6111 or PAWSwakefield@yahoo.com. And you can also meet many of our kittens and cats at our adoption hours every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at VCA Wakefield Animal Hospital and on the first Saturday of the month at the Woburn PETCO from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
