Home Needed: Angel Muse and Mr. Bigglesworth

November is adopt a senior cat month, and these two would love to snuggle up to you on a cold winter night.

November is adopt-a-senior cat month and we would like to reintroduce ourselves to you. We are Angel Muse and Mr. Bigglesworth, model senior citizens out to prove that that age is an attitude, not a number. A healthy, thirteen-years young, we can’t figure out why the fuss over those kittens. They may be cute, but we are beautiful. We certainly have energy and affection to match theirs and we focus ours on toys and not the carpets, sofas, and curtains. Think of us as grown-up kittens. What could be better?

So are you trying to figure out who is who? I am Angel, the tortie. I am the spokes-cat because I am the more outgoing one. I will always come running to greet you (Biggie is never far behind). I love to play, but I also love basking in the sun and hanging out with you. Did I mention my beautiful tortoiseshell markings? I do notlike to be shallow, but hey, I am a really beautiful girl with my ravishing coat.  People always say I do not look a day over seven. But hey, who judges by the numbers? Not me.

Among the many things in life that I love, Mr. Bigglesworth is at the top of my list. He is so handsome with his classic orange tabby swirls. Biggie can take a while to warm up to you, but once he does, he is your friend for life. The other thing I love about Biggie is he is so playful. Check out our videos to see how no string, mouse, box, or other toy goes untouched when he is around. He is just so sweet and loveable I cannot get enough of him. You will feel the same way when you meet him.

Biggie and I had a wonderful home for our first 12 years. Alas, when our owners had to move to an apartment, they just could not take us with them. Thank goodness for PAWS or we might have found ourselves on the street….or worse!  That would have been a shame since we have lots of good life left in us.

Biggie and I hope our luck continues as we dream of a loving home for our golden years. Remember, cats our age know what is good about life. We don’t waste time chasing shadows.  We want the real thing:  the loving the warmth of owners. In fact, our favorite activity after playing is to sleep with you at night.  Winter is coming and heat bills are rising. Adopt us and turn down the thermostat. We will snuggle in and keep you cozy through the cold winter nights. And, unlike kittens, we will not attack your toes at 3 a.m. That is a promise.
