Get Out With The Family This Weekend

Activities coming up this weekend in and around Lynnfield.

Another weekend is fast approaching, and you're wondering what's going on in and around Lynnfield.

There are a lot of fun activities the whole family will enjoy. You can head to a music class, a meditation seminar, or a family BBQ with the chance of meeting US Senator Scott Brown. You could also learn about nutrition, or join in on a fun pancake breakfast at the .

Why Go: Get the kids moving with Music & Movement classes for children from birth to age 5. There are interactive music classes for infants, toddlers & pre-schoolers, and free trial classes are available.

Where/When: 401 Main St, Saugus, Saturday, 1:00pm–4:00pm. 

Why Go: Join in for an afternoon of family fun. Special guests include Charlie Baker, Richard Tesei, Michele McFee (signing her copies of her book) and (perhaps) a visit from US Senator Scott Brown!

Why Go: Get some nutrition tips, including calorie intake, meal time frequency, and goals and expectations for weight gain / weight loss / and maintenance.

Where/When: , (126 Middlesex Ave, Wilmington), Sunday, after 9am mass. 

Why Go: As the church celebrates the Feast of Corpus Christi on Sunday, June 26 there will be a pancake breakfast after the 9 a.m. Mass. Fun, food, raffle drawing and prices will be available. They ask those who have made their First Communion to come dressed in their suit or dress and you will receive a free breakfast.

Pricing: $5 per person and $12 for a family.

Where/When: Unitarian Universalists Church of Reading, 239 Woburn St, Reading, Saturday, 9:00am–12:00pm.

Why Go: The Buddhist Meditation Group @ UUCR invites you to a half day meditation retreat on  Saturday. The retreat will consist of a combination of chanting, silent meditation and walking meditation.  It is recommended you wear loose comfortable clothing.  Please bring a meditation cushion if you prefer one over a chair.
