Get Out! Stoneham Theatre Presentations And More

We have some fun high energy activities for you in and around Lynnfield this weekend.

Another weekend is fast approaching, and you're wondering what's going on in and around Lynnfield.


1. Assassins And More At The Stoneham Theatre

When/Where: Saturday and Sunday, 5:00pm, , 395 Main St.

Why Go: Go see a bold, original, surreal, disturbing, thought-provoking and alarmingly funny musical. Assassins is one of Stephen Sondheim’s highest achievements and a recent Broadway revival starring Neil Patrick Harris, Marc Kudisch and Michael Cerveris. 

Pricing: Tickets will be available at the door.

Also this weekend, the Stoneham Theatre Young Company presents Chicago, featuring local talent, including from Lynnfield. Showtimes are 5 p.m. on Friday, Saturday at 8 p.m. and 5 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, click here.

2. 

When/Where: Saturday, 9:00am, , 47 Butler Ave, Wakefield 
 

Why Go: Do something good for the environment this weekend and head to St. Florence Church. They are accepting all electronics to include monitors, computers, stereo equipment, copy and fax machines, TV's. We are also accepting any appliances such as refrigerators, washers, dryers, stoves, ac units, microwaves, dehumidifiers.
 

Pricing: Free.

 

3. 

When/Where: Saturday, 10:00am - 4:30pm, , 64 Middlesex Ave, Reading

Why Go: Holy Theme Day, Batman! If you just LOVE to HATE the Joker, then hang out at the library for a whole day of big screen time showing Batman v. Joker. Teens entering grades 6-12 are invited to watch both animated and live action adventures of your favorite DC hero.

4. 

When/Where: Saturday, 2:00pm, Main St & Albion St, Wakefield

Why Go: The highly popular Festival Italia will be back in downtown Wakefield on portions of Main and Albion Streets.   As always this fun, family‐friendly free event will feature great Italian food and music, mechanical bull ride, entertainment, antique car show, Spin‐the‐Wheel with prizes from local sponsors, assortment of activities provided by the Boston Sports Club, and more.

When/Where: Sunday, 8:00am, 197 Main St., North Reading
