Town's Arbor Day celebration is tomorrow on the Common.

Today is Friday, March 6. Here are five things you need to know:

Arbor Day Celebration Saturday: The town's Arbor Day celebration is tomorrow (Saturday) at 10 a.m. on the common. The event will see the winners of the Amazing Trees of Lynnfield photo contest winning their prize trees, as well as an announcement about Lynnfield's Tree City USA status.

Blood Drive: Also on Saturday, between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the , the Precourt family and Girl Scout troop 60528 are having their second blood drive, in memory of Carolyn T. Black.

LHS Pioneer Sports: The boys varsity lacrosse team plays at home against Triton at 4 p.m. while the JV team plays that same opponent at 5:30 p.m. Boys varsity tennis is at home against North Andover High School at 3:30 p.m., while the girls varsity tennis team plays Swampscott at home, also at 3:30 p.m. Finally, varsity and junior varsity softball both have away games at 3:45 p.m. against Newburyport.

Curious About Cuisine Outing: Individuals interested in joining the Lynnfield Library's Curious About Cuisine group in an outing to Summer Winter Restaurant at the Burlington Marriott are asked to register by Monday, May 9 by calling the library at 781-334-5411 or emailing ryan@noblenet.org. Carpooling will be available and each individual is responsible for the cost of their own lunch.

Free Classical Music Concert: If you're looking for something to do nearby after Lynnfield's Arbor Day celebration, consider heading over to the Beebe Library in Wakefield. At 3:30 p.m., violinist Jenna Potts and pianist Yulia Yun will perform "A Finnish Soundscape" by Jean Sibelius. Admission is free.
