Senior Center Activities: The offers a variety of ways to stay active. On Thursday, those activities include chair exercise (9:25 a.m.), yoga (10 a.m.) and Jazzercise Lite (11 a.m.).

LHS Pioneer Sports: At 3:30 p.m., the boys varsity tennis team plays at Ipswich team, while the girls varsity team is at home against Marblehead. Also, at 3:45 p.m., the boys freshman baseball team plays at home against Ipswich while the freshman girls softball team plays at home against St. Mary's of Lynn.

Upcoming Graduation Activities: Looking ahead to next week, graduation at Lynnfield High School is Friday, June 3 at 6 p.m. The senior awards ceremony is Thursday, June 2 at 7 p.m. At the Middle School, the 8th graders have their moving on ceremony on Monday, June 20 at 6 p.m.

Lynnfield Idol Winners: Congratulations to Katie Nevils (middle school division), Katie Morelli (high school division) and Rich Sokolow (adult division) for winning this week in the Lynnfield Idol 2011 competition. .
