Five Things You Need To Know Today: May 19

Tonight is Fine Arts Night at Summer Street Elementary.

Today is Thursday, May 19. Here are five things you need to know.

Pioneer Sports Action: At 3:30 p.m. the boys varsity lacrosse team is on the road against Manchester Essex. At 3:45 p.m., the boys varsity and junior varsity team both play Triton at home. Girls varsity and junior varsity softball both have games at Triton at 3:45 p.m. Later, the girls junior varsity lacrosse plays at Gloucester at 4 p.m., while the girls varsity plays that opponent at 6 p.m. The boys junior varsity lacrosse team also has a road game at 5 p.m. against Manchester Essex.

Fine Arts Night: Tonight from 6-8 p.m., it's Fine Arts Night at Summer Street Elementary School. The students will be showing some of the creations they worked on over the past school year. Students in grades 2-4 will also be demonstrating their musical talents.

Help With Clutter: The Lynnfield Senior Center features free presentation on organizing and removing clutter at 12:30 p.m. Speaker will be Denis King, owner of Clear the Clutter.

Strawberry Festival Breakfast: Speaking of the senior center, on Friday at 8 a.m. they are holding a special strawberry festival breakfast for $3. Also on hand will be the Essex County Sheriff's Department for a K-9 unit demonstration.
