Town Business: A planning board meeting is scheduled for tonight at 7:30 p.m. in the selectmen's room at .

Tree Talk: The Lynnfield Tree Committee has announced that those receiving their 4th quarter 2011 real estate tax bills this week will also find the latest "Tree Talk" newsletter. Additional copies are also available at the Conservation Commission office, the library and the main post office. The Tree Committee is currently planning its Arbor Day celebration, which will take place Saturday, May 7 at 10 a.m.

Speaking Of Spring: In other related news, Townscape will be hosting its 24th annual Geraniumfest on Saturday, May 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Lynnfield Common. Amazing Trees Photo Contest: Finally, the third item of this morning's Tree-Fecta is a reminder that residents have until Friday, April 8 to enter the Amazing Trees of Lynnfield Contest. Photo categories are: favorite shade, most unusual, and best climbing tree. Submission forms are available at the town website and at the Conservation Commission office, the library and the post office.
