Annual Pumpkin Fair is tomorrow at Summer Street School.

Today is Friday, September 30th. Here are five things you need to know.

Pumpkin Fair: The annual Pumpkin Fair at the Summer Street School is tomorrow – Saturday, October 1st, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. The fair includes family activities, games, pony rides, pumpkin decorating, seasonal shopping and more.

Hockey Fundraising: The Lynnfield High School Boys Hockey Team will host a car wash fundraiser on Sunday, October 2nd from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the South Lynnfield Fire Station. Donation for the car wash is $5.00. All money raised will go toward supporting the Lynnfield High School Boys Hockey Program for the 2011-2012 season.

Teen Brunch Book Club: On Saturday, the library is featuring the first meeting of its Teen Brunch Book Club. Teens aged 13-18 are invited at noon to bring their favorite book and their library card and to enjoy some bagels, donut holes and coffee.

Pioneer Sports: The girls varsity volleyball team has an away game at 4 p.m. at Revere, with the JV team playing at 5:30 p.m. The girls junior varsity field hockey team plays at 5:15 p.m. at Triton, and at 7 p.m., the varsity football team takes on St. Mary's in Lynn at Manning Field.

Looking Ahead: For November, the library has announced that Bill Sano, an area choral director, will give four presentations about George Gershwin on Tuesdays in November at the Old Meeting House – November 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd from 10 a.m. to noon.
