Lynnfield Art Guild: The Lynnfield Art Guild meets Thursday evening at 7 p.m. at the . Special guest will be multimedia artist Tom Sutherland, who will demonstrate water color painting techniques. . Also, visitors to the Lynnfield Senior Center between now and October can view a display of artwork created by members of a watercolor class taught by Pauline Bacon. .

Town Business: There is an assessor's meeting at 5 p.m. tonight at Town Hall. The Conservation Commission meets at 6:30 p.m. in the selectmen's room, and the Recreation Commission meets at 7:30 p.m.

LHS Pioneer Sports: At 3:30 p.m., the golf team plays at home against Ipswich. The cross country team has a met at 3:45 p.m. at Amesbury. At 4 p.m., the girls varsity volleyball team plays at home against Peabody, with the junior varsity game at 5:30 p.m.

Community Supported Agriculture: The First Light Farm in Hamilton runs a community supported agriculture (CSA) program that has a presence in Lynnfield. The farm recently announced details for its Fall and Spring CSA, where individuals can arrange to pick up a box of fresh, organic and locally grown produce once a month.
