Tonight from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Lynnfield Library, it’s the Family Fiesta Storytime, featuring stories and songs in both English and Spanish, geared toward ages 2-6. Tomorrow morning at 10 a.m., the library has “Sing and Sway,” to help introduce preschool kids  (aged 2-6) to rhythm and dance activities.

One of the town’s longstanding traditions continues tomorrow on the town common. The 46th Annual Lynnfield Rotary Chicken Barbecue is Tuesday, September 11 from 4:30 to 7 p.m., with a rain date of September 12. Tickets are $6 for a hot dog dinner and $12 for the chicken. As always, the event also includes entertainment and a classic car show.

The Lynnfield Board of Health has announced that it will hold a flu clinic on Friday, Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Lynnfield Senior Center. Bring insurance cards. $10 fee for those whose insurance is not accepted. Individuals must also have no allergy to egg products and no history of Guillain Barre Syndrome (GBS).

Local Weather: This week’s weather is looking pretty good right into next weekend. Lots of high 70s and partly cloudy skies coming up, according to the National Weather Service.
