Five Things You Need To Know: October 30

Coast flood warning for region remains until 1 p.m. High wind warning expected to be lifted at 6 a.m.

Today is Tuesday, Oct. 30. Here are five things you need to know.

Storm Aftermath: A coastal flood warning is in effect for the North Shore region until 1 p.m. on Tuesday. The National Weather Service was expected to lift its High Wind Warning at 6 a.m. on Tuesday.

MIAA Tournament – Congratulations to the LHS field hockey team, which is headed to the MIAA tournament with a game on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 2:15 p.m. against Pentucket at the middle school field. Lynnfield (11-4-3) enters the tournament as a #7 seed while Pentucket is at #10.

Note From The Library: On Saturday, November 3, 2012 the Trustees of the Lynnfield Public Library cordially invite you to a Grand Opening & Reception honoring the generous support our Library has received from seven Lynnfield families, the Friends of the Library, the Rotary Club of Lynnfield and the Lynnfield community.  The Reception will be held in the Children’s Room of the Library from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm with a Program at 2:00 pm. Two School Musicals Coming Up: LMS Musical: The weekend of November 2-4, Lynnfield Middle School presents “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.” Tickets are $10 at the door for adults, $8 for kids and seniors. Click here for more information.

LHS Musical: Later in November, Lynnfield High School has its production of “Legally Blonde.”  The show will be performed on Thursday, November 15th at 7:00, Friday, November 16th at 7:30, Saturday, November 17th at 7:30, and Sunday, November 18th at 2:00 p.m. Ticket prices are $14 for adults and $12 for children, students and seniors.
