Five Things You Need To Know: October 28th

LHS Haunted High School is Sunday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Today is Friday, October 28th. Here are five things you need to know:

Halloween Kids Night Out: The in Lynnfield has a Halloween Kids Night Out event tonight at 5 p.m. for kids aged 3-12, featuring games and a costume contest, pumpkin painting and trick or treating. Cost is $20 per child for BSC members and $24 for non-members. Call 781-246-7500 for more information.

Family Fun Night: Tonight, is having a family fun movie and pizza night starting at 5:30 p.m. with Disney's "Spooky Buddies" to be shown at 6 p.m. Suggested donation of $1 per child, with profits going to My Brother's Table or Catholic Charities. There will also be concessions stand with popcorn, candy and drinks. Children are encouraged to bring a sleeping bag or pillow, chairs will be provided for the adults. Haunted High School: If you're looking for a fun Halloween activity to bring the kids to this weekend, one option is the Haunted High School, which happens just once every two years. The Haunted High School runs Sunday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and is geared towards ages pre-K through grade 6. .

Pie Sale: The LHS Band Boosters are having a pie sale fundraiser. Get your orders in by November 10 and pick them up the week of Thanksgiving. .

Patch Halloween Contest: There’s just a few days left to enter the Patch.com Kids’ Halloween Costume Contest. The winner will get a trip to either Los Angeles or New York City and will also get to meet supermodel Heidi Klum. .
