Town clerk's office open until 8 p.m. tonight for last-minute voter registration. LHS Fall Concert tonight, ghost stories presentation this morning.

Today is Wednesday, October 17. Here are five things you need to know.

Register To Vote: Today is your last day to register to vote in the 2012 election. As a result, the town clerk’s office at town hall will remain open until 8 p.m. tonight.  Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 6.

LHS Fall Concert: The Lynnfield High School Fall Concert is tonight at 7 p.m.

Ghost Stories: This Wednesday, October 17th at 11:15 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Essex Street, the Centre Club of the North Shore holds a presentation by local film producer Dan Tremblay on “Ghost Stories Of New England.” Click here for more information.

Lynnfield SEPAC Meeting: The next meeting of the Lynnfield Special Education Parents Advisory Council is tonight at the Lynnfield Preschool 7 p.m. This meeting will feature a parent workshop on effectively managing behaviors at home. The workshop will be led by Lynnfield teachers Jen Hogan Caley and Alyssa Dulski.

Donate Blood For Kids With Cancer: Today from 1 to 8 p.m., stop by the West Side Social Club at 4 Harrington Court in Wakefield to give some blood for Boston Children’s Hospital and the Jimmy Fund Clinic. Along with honoring the kids at the previously mentioned facilities, the blood drive is in memory of Christopher Barnes, who lost his battle with cancer in 2009. Walk-ins are welcome but you can also make an appointment by calling Mark at 978-604-9566.
