Breast Cancer Fundraiser: Dina Metrano of Pumps – Real Fitness For Women reports that the business is holding its second Zumba Dance Party for Breast Cancer Research on Tuesday, Oct. 30 at 7 p.m. The event is open to members and non-members and a $10 donation is requested.

Friends Of Pleasure Island: This Sunday, Oct. 14 at 10 a.m. , Friends of Pleasure Island President Bob McLaughlin leads a free walking tour of the site of the former amusement park, where the office park presently stands. The event is open to the public and does not require reservations. Participants meet in the first parking lot on the left after entering Edgewater Office Park. .
