LHS Sports: Today at 3:30 p.m., the boys varsity golf team has a home meet at Sagamore against Rockport. The boys varsity and junior varsity teams both play at 3:45 p.m. at Georgetown, while the girls varsity and JV soccer teams are at home at 3:45 p.m., also against Georgetown. Also at 3:45 p.m., the girls varsity field hockey team plays at home against Amesbury with the JV game at 5:15 p.m.

Yard Sale For Small Dogs In Need: This weekend, Saturday October 15, there will be a yard sale featuring various designer items, including bags, clothes and jewelry, to raise money for small dogs in need. The yard sale is at 5 Durham Road Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Travel Team Basketball Tryouts: Tryouts are coming up later this month for Lynnfield Youth Basketball travel teams. All tryouts are at the gym and travel team practices begin in November 13. The tryout schedule for travel teams can be viewed here.
