Check This Out: This Friday night, Lynnfield's 9th grade Cadette Girl Scout Troop 60452 will be raising funds for a trip next summer. You can bring your kids, aged 4-10 to the Centre Congregational Church basement and from 6 to 9 p.m., they will keep the kids entertained with crafts, a movie and pizza. Many of the girls are also first aid and CPR certified. $15 for one child, $25 for two siblings, and $30 for three or more. Pumpkin Patch: This Saturday, October 15th, the holds its first Pumpkin Patch fundraiser from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Stop by and pick up your pumpkins for Halloween and bring the whole family for some fun activities, including a moon bounce for the kids.

Lynnfield Library: The library is closed today for Columbus Day. However, between now and Friday, it has a busy week of events coming up, including Lego Night, a Curious About Cuisine meeting focusing on vegan cooking, and Saturday's annual used book sale. Check it out here.

Youth Basketball: Registration is also now underway for Lynnfield Youth Basketball. New and returning players in grades 1-8 can go to http://www.lynnfieldbasketball.com. Registrations will be taken through October 20th. Late sign ups will be taken on a first come basis through November 3rd and will be charged a late payment of $25.00.
