Buddy Walk: Over in Wakefield this weekend, the annual Mass. Down Syndrome Congress Buddy Walk is this Sunday at Lake Quannapowitt. At least several thousand people are expected to turn out for the event, along with some special guests. Organizers announced Thursday that James Massone of “The Voice” has been added to the guest lineup, with singer Ayla Brown and actress Lauren Potter from Glee. Neurofibromatosis Walk: Earlier this year, Tara Vocino interviewed Lynnfield resident Karen Peluso about the ongoing fight against Neurofibromatosis. Looking to next Sunday, Oct. 14th, it’s the Steps 2 Cure NF (Neurofibromatosis) walk, also around Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. and the walk is at 2 p.m. Click here to learn more.

Photo Exhibit On Hunger: There’s less than a week until a photo exhibit on hunger by Michael Nye opens at Endicott College in Beverly. Local nonprofit group Gathering Change, which raises funds for area food pantries, has worked for months to bring the exhibit to the area. Learn more at this link.

Breast Cancer T-Shirts:  Mike DiCorato, owner of the Countryside Deli, has announced that they have designed “Fight Like A Girl” t-shirts to help fight breast cancer. DiCorato’s wife Lisa is a survivor. The shirts are $15 and proceeds will go to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. To order a shirt, call 781-245-2160, or just stop by the Countryside Deli, where the shirts will be in on Friday.

Constituent Service Hour: State Senator Katherine Clark or a member of her staff will be on hand today from 10 to 11 a.m. in the conference room at town hall for constituent service.
