American Music Legends: Bill Sarno’s series of talks on the lives of American music legends wraps up next Tuesday, Dec. 4 (10 a.m. to noon) at the Old Meeting House. Today’s presentation will focus on the life of Frank Sinatra.

Calling All History Lovers: Coming up on Sunday, Dec. 23 at 7:30 p.m., the Unitarian Universalist Church in downtown Wakefield and the Standing Room Only Concert Series present “A Civil War Christmas” featuring various performers doing selections from this crucial time in American history. Coffee House: The Lynnfield Community Church at 735 Salem Street holds a coffeehouse featuring local performers on the second and fourth Friday of the month. Up next is Ashley Wells on Friday, Dec. 14 with the doors opening at 7:30 p.m.  Musicians are lined up for other coffeehouse event from now through April. Click here for more information

Blood Pressure: Every Tuesday morning at 10 a.m., the Lynnfield Senior Center offers free blood pressure screenings.

Art And Craft Show: The Lynnfield Art Guild holds its annual Art and Craft Show on Saturday, Dec. 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Arts and crafts created by LAG members will be available for purchase. A raffle will benefit the Lynnfield Art Guild Scholarship Fund.
