Today is Monday, November 26. Here are five things you need to know.

Care Givers Support Group: Today at noon at the Lynnfield Senior Center on Salem Street, the Care Givers Support Group meets.  The leader will be Elizabeth Cochran MSW, from GLSS. Anyone providing care to a loved one or coordinating care at a facility is welcome.

Gingerbread House Construction: Lynnfield Community Schools has announced a Gingerbread House Construction class on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The price is $35. Call LCS at 781-334-5814 to register.

Frank Sinatra: Next Tuesday, December 4 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Old Meeting House, Bill Sarno wraps up his series on American Music Legends with a presentation on the life of Frank Sinatra.

Christmas Gala: The Stacee L. Monkiewicz Foundation is holding its 2012 Christmas Gala on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Sheraton Colonial. Entertainment provided by Boston-based cover band Spike The Punch. In a recent email update, the foundation noted that last year’s gala raised more than $27,500 to help bring a recreation center to Lynnfield.  To register for the event, click here.  For more information, email staceefoundation@gmail.com

At the Lynnfield Library, stop by between now and the end of December to check out four paintings by Lynnfield Middle School student Iris Zheng that are on display. According to the library website, two of them are under the mezzanine, one is next to the geneaology room and the other is by the paperback collection.
