History Presentation: Tonight at 7:30 p.m., author and historian Anthony Sammarco is at the Old Meeting House for a talk at the Lynnfield Historical Society meeting on American Christmas Traditions. The public is welcome. Click here for more information.

Ella Fitzgerald Talk: Bill Sarno’s series on the lives of America’s classic musical performers continues this morning at 10 a.m. to noon at the Old Meeting with a talk about Ella Fitzgerald.  Up next is a talk about Frank Sinatra on Tuesday, December 4, also from 10 a.m. to noon.

Gingerbread: Lynnfield Community Schools has announced a Gingerbread House Construction class on Thursday, Dec. 6 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The price is $35. Call LCS at 781-334-5814 to register.

LHS '82 Reunion: The Lynnfield High School Class of 1982 is having a reunion on Friday, November 23, from 7-11 PM at the Hotel Marlowe in Cambridge. Tickets are $65 per person. To buy tickets, send a check made payable to LHS 1982 Fund to 71 Forest Hill Ave, Lynnfield. Christmas Gala: The Stacee L. Monkiewicz Foundation is holding its 2012 Christmas Gala on Saturday, Dec. 15 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Sheraton Colonial. Entertainment provided by Boston-based cover band Spike The Punch. In a recent email update, the foundation noted that last year’s gala raised more than $27,500 to help bring a recreation center to Lynnfield.  To register for the event, click here.  For more information, email staceefoundation@gmail.com
