Today: LHS volleyball wins division championship game over the weekend, Board of Health offering a flu clinic tonight.

Today is Monday, November 12. Here are five things you need to know.

LHS Volleyball: Congratulations to the LHS girls volleyball team on their 3-0 win against Academy of Notre Dame this weekend in the MIAA Division 3 North championship game.  Notre Dame was the #1 seed heading into the tournament, with a 20-o record, while Lynnfield was #3 with a 17-3 record. Up next, Lynnfield plays Millbury Memorial, the central division champs, Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Tewksbury High School.

Hurricane Relief: Lynnfield's Troop 48 Boy Scouts are collecting items this week to help those in New York and New Jersey still suffering from Hurricane Sandy. Their trailer is expected to leave this upcoming weekend for New York. Click here for information.

Flu Clinic Tonight: This Monday, November 12th, the Lynnfield Board of Health is holding a flu clinic at town hall from 6 to 8 p.m. The clinic is open to all. Please bring insurance cards. $10 fee for those whose insurance is not accepted. This is a re-scheduling of the clinic that was postponed because of Hurricane Sandy.

Legally Blonde Performance: We’re told that - Tickets for performances of Lynnfield High School's production of Legally Blonde will no longer be accepted by phone or email order.  All tickets must be purchased and paid for in person, either in the high school lobby on Tuesday, November 13th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. or at the door, if available.  The show will be performed on Thursday, November 15th at 7:00 p.m., Friday, November 16th at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, November 17th at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, November 18th at 2:00 p.m.  Ticket prices are $12 for students and seniors and $14 for adults.

LCC Coffee House: The Lynnfield Community Church has a new coffee house series that will feature area musicians on the second and fourth Fridays of the month. The next one is Friday, Nov. 23 featuring Alec Hutson.
