Today is Friday, Dec. 1. Here are five things you need to know.

Football game coverage: Lynnfield takes on Bishop Sheehan in the MIAA Division 3A Super Bowl game this Saturday, 8 p.m. at Gillette Stadium. Jonathan Friedman of Patch.com will be live blogging the game on the Lynnfield and Attleboro Patch websites.

Holiday Season Kickoff: Saturday afternoon, it’s the annual town tree lighting and Gingerbread House Contest on the common.  Click here for more information from the Lynnfield Recreation Commission.

Country Store: The Historical Society has been searching far and wide for a box or twin-pack of Twinkies to raffle off this Saturday at the annual Country Store event (9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Old Meeting House). Your local Patch.com editor is already donating a twin pack of Devil Dogs to be raffled off Saturday. If you can match the donation with some Twinkies, email William.laforme@patch.com.

Town Business: On Monday, Dec. 3 at 7 p.m. at town hall. On Wednesday, Dec. 5, it’s the annual town budget summit at the senior center on Salem Street.
