Leaf Recycling Center to be open several more times between now and Dec. 14

Today is Tuesday, Nov. 29. Here are five things you need to know.

Town Recycling Center: The town DPW has announced that due to mild weather conditions, the leaf recycling center will be open for the following four dates:
Saturday, Dec. 3 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 7 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Saturday, Dec. 10 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 14 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Call 781-334-9500 for more information. Valid recycling stickers required.

Support Group: Tonight at 6 p.m., the hosts a support group for grieving parents who are dealing with the holidays.

Sports Memorabilia Auction: Are you a Bruins fan? Next Thursday, Dec. 8 at 4:30 p.m., stop by Tavern in the Square in downtown Salem for a Bruins memorabilia auction. Portion of the proceeds will benefit the Boston Bruins Foundation.
