Precourt Family Blood Drive is tomorrow at LMS. Tonight, LHS students participate in Evening of A Cappella at Wakefield High School.

Today is Friday, May 4. Here are five things you need to know.

Friends Of The Senior Center: The Friends of the Lynnfield Senior Center hold their annual All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, May 19 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the on Salem Street in Lynnfield. The cost is $5, but tickets will not be sold the day of the breakfast. Instead, pick them up in advance at the front desk of the Senior Center.

Precourt Family Blood Drive: Girl Scout Troop 60528 is sponsoring the 3rd annual Precourt Family Blood Drive at the on Saturday, May 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be kid-friendly, with crafts and face painting. Blood donors must be at least 17 years old. Those aged 16 can donate with a signed parental form. Call 1-800-RED-CROSS or visit redcrossblood.org to make an appointment.

Evening Of A Cappella: On Friday, May 4 head over to Wakefield High School, 60 Farm Street for an evening of A cappella music that will include performances by three Lynnfield High School groups (the A caBellas, the A caPeople and the LHS Chamber Singers), among other local student groups. Admission is $15 ($10 for seniors and students) and the doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Rain Barrels: The 25th annual Geraniumfest celebration will feature a variety of fun family activities, and people will also have the chance to get a rain barrel for garden irrigation. You can order a rain barrel in advance at this link and then pick it up between 9 a.m. and noon on Saturday, May 19, the day of this year’s Geraniumfest.

LHS Sports: There’s a busy day ahead for the LHS sports teams. At 3:30 p.m., the track team is on the road against North Andover. The girls tennis team is also playing in North Andover at 3:30 p.m., while the boys team is at home, same time, same opponent. At 3:45 p.m., the varsity and JV baseball teams both play Manchester Essex at home. The varsity and JV softball teams play Newburyport at home at 3:45 p.m., while the girls varsity lacrosse team plays Triton at home at 4 p.m, with the JV game at 5:30 p.m.
