Comedy Night to benefit Reid's Ride tonight at Prince Pizzeria.

Today is Thursday, May 10. Here are five things you need to know.

Reid’s Ride Comedy Night:  This Thursday, May 10 at 7 p.m., stop by Prince Pizzeria on Route 1 in Saugus for a fundraiser to benefit the Reid Sacco Memorial Foundation, which helps fight cancer in children.  Cost is $20 per person, including pizza and a show with three comedians.  There will be a cash bar and the event is 18+. Cystic Fibrosis Walk: This Sunday May 20 at 11 a.m. on the Lynnfield Common, stop by and show support for the Great Strides 5 mile walk to cure Cystic Fibrosis. In Lynnfield, many walkers will be out in support of Joey Distefano. Laser Tag: Later this month, Lynnfield Special Education Parents Advisory Council holds a laser tag fundraiser. The event is Tuesday, May 22 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Laser Craze, 15 Presidential Way, Woburn. The laser tag is for ages 7 through adult and costs $12 for a 40-45 minute session with four 5-minute games back to back in the arena.  There is also an adrenaline zone (inflatable area) for ages 2 to 10, $8 for unlimited time. 45% of all proceeds from laser tag and the adrenaline zone will be donated to Lynnfield SEPAC. Rain Barrels: The 25th annual Geraniumfest celebration will feature a variety of fun family activities, and people will also have the chance to get a rain barrel for garden irrigation. You can order a rain barrel in advance at this link and then pick it up between 9 a.m. and noon on Saturday, May 19, the day of this year’s Geraniumfest. The deadline for ordering them online is this Monday, May 14.

LHS Sports: Today at 3:30 p.m. the girls varsity tennis team plays on the road against Marblehead, while the boys tennis team plays at Malden Catholic at 3:45 p.m.  Also at 3:45 p.m., the varsity and JV softball teams are at home against Rockport.  At 4 p.m., the girls varsity lacrosse team is at home against Hamilton Wenham, with the junior varsity game at 5:30 p.m. The boys JV baseball team plays at Rockport at 4 p.m., with the varsity game at 6:30 p.m. The boys JV lacrosse team plays at 5 p.m. at Manchester Essex, with the varsity game at 6:45 p.m.
