Five Things You Need To Know: March 5

Today is Tuesday, March 5th. Here are five things you need to know.

MIAA Tournament: The LHS boys basketball team is playing an MIAA North Division 4 semifinal tonight at 7 p.m. against Lowell Catholic. The game is in Billerica. The winner goes on to the division final game on March 8th against Snowden at Emmanuel College.

LHS Coffeehouse: The next coffee house event, featuring the musical talents of the students, is Tuesday, March 5th, at 7 p.m. Admission is $5.

School Budget Hearing: The Lynnfield School Committee has announced a budget hearing for Tuesday, March 19th at 7 p.m. in the selectmen’s room at town hall. The public is welcome to attend.

Concert for Interfaith Food Pantry: On Saturday, March 16th at 8 p.m. at the Temple Emmanuel in Wakefield, they’re having a concert to raise funds for the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry. Musicians Kim and Reggie Harris are performing, as is singer and folk guitarist Rabbi Jonathan Kligler. Click here for more information.
