Pioneer singers raising funds for Montreal trip.

Today is Friday, March 25. Here are five things you need to know:

Town government meetings next week: On Monday, the selectmen meet at 7 p.m. at . The Conservation Commission meets Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., and on Wednesday, there is an assessors meeting at 5 p.m.

Heifer International Benefit: The Middleton-based a cappella group Overboard performs Thursday, April 7 at the in Lynnfield at 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 and the doors open at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit Heifer International, which works to relieve global poverty by providing livestock and agricultural training to individuals in  many countries.

Help Send The Pioneer Singers To Montreal: The Pioneer Singers will host a fundraising night for their upcoming Montréal concert tour at Fuddrucker’s in Reading on Monday, March 28th.  From 5-8 p.m., patrons who purchase food at Fuddrucker’s using a special coupon will have 20% of their check donated to the Pioneer Singers.  Patrons may enjoy their food in the restaurant or to go. Fundraiser coupons have been sent home with all LMS students, and additional coupons may be obtained through Pioneer Singers members.

Are you a jazz fan? Sushi Island on Main Street in Wakefield has live jazz tonight from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Calling All Golfers: The town has announced that frequent player passes are available for Reedy Meadow and King Rail Reserve golf courses. Cards can be purchased for 10, 25, or 50 rounds of golf.
