School Committee holds annual public hearing on budget tonight.

Today is Tuesday, March 13. Here are five things you need to know.

School Budget Hearing: The Lynnfield School Committee has scheduled a public hearing on the proposed FY 13 school budget. The hearing will be on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the High School Media Center. Citizens of the community are invited to attend this public hearing.

Lynnfield Youth Soccer: The Lynnfield Youth Soccer Club (LYSC) would like to remind parents that registrations for the Spring 2012 U6 and U8 season is still open. To register, simply go to www.lynnfieldsoccer.com.  And if you're interested in coaching, you can sign up to volunteer on the website too.

Brad Jones Office Hours: House Minority Leader Brad Jones will be holding his next district office hour in town this Friday, March 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Lynnfield Town Hall.

Art And Design Event: Coming up later this month, Sunrise Senior Living in Lynnfield is holding an art exhibit and home décor event on Sunday, March 25 and Monday, March 26 from 12 to 5 p.m. The exhibit features the work of the Lynnfield Art Guild and other local artists, including Sunrise resident Angelo Stavru, Interior designer, Lisa Jensen will provid tips on choosing the right artwork for your home and decorating with art. HGTV’s Emily Henderson has also put together a complimentary Design Guide with special considerations when designing a room for seniors.

Candidates Night: The Lynnfield Business Coalition is sponsoring the annual Candidates Night. in the Library of the Lynnfield High School on Tuesday, March 20 at 7 p.m. Candidates' Night is an opportunity for all candidates who have registered to be on the ballot for Election Day, which is Monday, April 9, to present their background and points of view on various topics.
