Five Things You Need To Know: June 4

Tonight in Lynnfield - Dining For A Cause, and a full moon pajama party at the library for the kids.

Today is Monday, January 4. Here are five things you need to know.

Selectmen: The selectmen’s meeting that was scheduled for this Monday, June 4 has been canceled. Items that would have been considered will come up at the next meeting on Monday, June 18.

Dining For A Cause: Tonight from 5 to 10 p.m.,  you can dine at the Ninety Nine Restaurant on Salem Street in Lynnfield and 15 percent of your meal tab will be donated to local nonprofit Journeys of Hope, which works to help homeless teens. You can print a voucher for the fundraiser here.

Full Moon Pajama Party: Next Monday, June 4 at 6:30 p.m. , bring the kids by the Lynnfield Library for a full moon pajama party, featuring lunar-themed stories and a craft.

Lunch And Lecture: Melanoma- What it is. How it appears. How it is diagnosed and how it is treated. Nancy d’Amore from Home Health Foundation will be at the Lynnfield Senior Center to tell us everything we need to know. June 7 at 12:30. Free. Please sign up. Lunch will be served at 11:30 for $2.00/$3.00. Sign up for lunch by 12 noon the day before. Please sign up separately for the lunch and the lecture.

Junior Golf Clinic: The Women’s Golf Association of Massachusetts (WGAM) in conjunction with The First Tee, the MGA, and will be holding a free Junior Golf Clinic on Thursday, June 7 at Reedy Meadow Golf Course.  We hope that you can help spread the word so that we have a large turnout of Junior Golfers.   This free clinic will run from 3:30 to 5 p.m. and is geared towards boys and girls ages 5-18.  Snacks are provided along with instruction.
