Five Things You Need To Know: June 23

Antique car show next Wednesday at the Senior Center.

Today is Thursday, June 23. Here are five things you need to know.

Antique Car Show:  On Wednesday, June 29 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., stop by the Lynnfield Senior Center for a vintage auto show and a 50 cent day featuring hot dogs, beverages and more.

Friday Senior Center Breakfast: Speaking of the Senior Center, every Friday morning at 8 a.m., they serve a great breakfast for $3. Stop in and check it out sometime.

Library Lunch Bunch:  Another weekly event in town is the Lunch Bunch at the Lynnfield Library. At noon, families are welcome to come and hear stories geared towards ages 6-12.

Baby play group at library: For parents of younger children, the library offers a baby play group every Friday morning from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m.

DPW announcement: The Lynnfield DPW has announced that the new 2011-12 yard waste collection recycling stickers will be available starting Monday, June 20. The current green stickers will be valid until the end of this month. Stickers are $10, or $5 for senior citizens, and can be obtained at the DPW office at town hall or from the attendant at the recycling center on Saturdays.
