Five Things You Need To Know: June 21

First day of Summer, last day of school today.

Today is Tuesday, June 21. Here are five things you need to know:

End Of School Year: Last night, eighth graders at Lynnfield Middle School had their moving on ceremony. Today, the town's students will formally wrap up the school year and begin their summer vacation. Classes resume on Wednesday, August 31.

Town Business: The Board of Health meets at town hall at 5:30 p.m.

Motorcycle Noise Compliance: The Lynnfield Police have announced that on Saturday, June 25 from 10 a.m. to noon, they will conduct a free motorcycle noise compliance check. This will be for informational purposes only, with no enforcement action taken. For further information, contact Officer Secatore at 781-334-3131.

Sentimental Journey: Tuesday at 11:30 a.m., Peabody's Forever Young Singers will present songs and skits at the Lynnfield Senior Center. Spaghetti lunch also. Cost is $2.
