Today is Friday, June 17. Here are five things you need to know.

Father's Day Cards: At 3:45 p.m., the Lynnfield Library is hosting a Father's Day card making event. Librarians will read some stories about fathers, and will then provide the materials for making cards.

Speaking of Father's Day: One cool deal for dad's this weekend can be found at the nearby Stone Zoo. On Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., dads get free admission.

Senior Center Breakfast: If it's Friday morning, it means the Lynnfield Senior Center is serving its delicious breakfast, starting at 8 a.m.

Summer Basketball: Lynnfielders and other area residents aged 4th grade through high school can sign up for the Summer Basketball League at Gordon and Endicott College. The league starts on Monday, June 27. .
