Lynnfield Art Guild holds final demonstration until Fall tonight.

Today is Thursday, June 16, 2011. Here are five things you need to know.

Art Demonstration: The Lynnfield Art Guild holds the final demonstration before the summer break tonight at 7 p.m. at the Lynnfield Senior Center. Featured artist is Susan Hebenstreit of Merrimac, who works in media ranging from watercolor and murals to stained glass, oil and pastels. The public is welcome and doors open at 6:45 p.m.

Lunch Bunch At The Library: Thursdays at  noon, the Lynnfield Library presents a lunctime program for ages 6-12 featuring folk tales from around the world. No registration required.

Redistricting Meeting: Monday, June 20 at 6 p.m. at the city hall in neighboring Lynn, there is a meeting for those interested in preserving the Sixth Congressional District in its present form despite the upcoming redistricting process – where the state stands to lose a seat.
