Today is Thursday, July 28. Here are five things you need to know.

Lynnfield 9/11: The next meeting of the Lynnfield 9/11 Memorial Committee is Monday, August 1 at 6:30 p.m. at Fire Headquarters. Volunteers are still being sought to read the names of the victims during the day's ceremonies. Donation checks can be made out to Lynnfield 911 and sent c/o The Savings Bank, Attn: Ms. Janice Casoli, 351 Main Street, Wakefield, MA 01880.  To visit the official Lynnfield911 website, click here.

Office Hours: State Senator Katherine Clark has announced that she or a member of her staff will be available to meet with constituents on Friday, August 5 from 10-11 a.m. at Lynnfield Town Hall.

Live Music: The Fat Cactus on Route 1 features live entertainment on Thursdays starting at 8:30 p.m.

Town Business: For upcoming meetings, the library trustees meet next at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 2 while the board of appeals has its next meeting at 7:30 p.m., also on Tuesday.

Senior Center Activities: On Thursdays, activities at the Lynnfield Senior Center include Mah Jong at 12:30 p.m. and bridge, also at 12:30 p.m.
