Five Things You Need To Know: July 17

Lynnfield pair charged in asbestos case have court dates this week.

Today is Tuesday, July 17. Here are five things you need to know.

Court Action This Week: The office of Attorney General Martha Coakley announced that this week, Essex Superior Court will hear the Commonwealth vs. David Harder and the Commonwealth vs. Julie Rosati, on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. The two are charged with asbestos violations stemming from a company they ran.

Water Restrictions: For those who didn’t see this announcement yesterday, the state has required the 14 communities in the Ipswich River Water Basin to further restrict their outdoor use of water. This means that the Lynnfield Center Water District has prohibited the use of all sprinklers and irrigation until further notice. A hand-held hose may still be used at any time. Violators will be fined. For updated information, visit the water district website at www.lcwd.us.
