Little League Tournament: Lynnfield Little League players in the District 16 All Star 11-12 tournament have a big playoff game this evening against the Saugus American team at the East Lynn field at 5:45 p.m.

Scavenger Hunt: Local nonprofit group Gathering Change is having a scavenger hunt at Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield this Saturday, July 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The hunters’ fee is $20 and participants can assemble their own team of 4 or they can arrive and join a team there. Elizabeth Warren Chat: As you’ve probably seen elsewhere on the website, area Patch.com sites are holding a live chat interview with Democratic Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren. From the Lynnfield Senior Center:  Bring Your Grandkids to the Senior Center - Creature Teacher will be here with some of their exotic animals. We will learn about their habitat and may even be able to hold or pet some of the animals. Tues. July 17 at 12:30 p.m. Free. Please sign up. Treat the kids to a pizza lunch for $2.00/$3.00. You must sign up for lunch by 12 noon the day before. Please sign up separately for the lunch and the lecture. Everyone welcome!

Lunch Bunch At The Library: Today at 1 p.m., the Lynnfield Library holds its weekly Lunch Bunch Sr. gathering for children in grades 3 to 5. The kids are invited to bring a picnic lunch, a blanket, and their own chapter book. Librarians will read excerpts from the chapter books, and will also lead an art activity.
