Today is Thursday, January 31. Here are five things you need to know.

Tarzan: Tarzan is coming to town this weekend – Lynnfield Community Schools presents the musical, featuring music by Phil Collins. Performance are Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday at 2 p.m. at Lynnfield Middle School. Tickets are $10, $8 for adults and seniors.

Chinese New Year: Looking ahead to next week, they’re having a Chinese New Year party for the kids at the Lynnfield Library on Friday, February 8 at 3:30 p.m. Librarians will read stories about the Chinese zodiac, listen to some Chinese music, and do a snake craft for the new Year of the Snake. All ages welcome and no registration required.

Lynnfield Community Day: Historic New England announces a Lynnfield Community Day on Sunday, February 10th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the historic Phillips House on 34 Chestnut Street in Salem. The home features ship paintings, Chinese export porcelain, fine furnishings, and more.  .

Division Wrestling Championships: This weekend, the MIAA High School Division 3 state wrestling championships are at Wakefield Memorial High School, starting at 2 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. on Saturday.

Graphic Novels: Tonight at 7 p.m. at the Beebe Library – Area author Phoebe Potts will read from her new graphic novel “Good Eggs” and she’ll also talk more about graphic novels in general. Click here for more information.
